Transportation Coordinator

About the role

The company is a well‑established meat and food distributor operating across Canada. As a Transportation Coordinator you will manage time‑sensitive inbound and outbound shipments, ensuring they arrive on schedule, within budget, and in compliance with safety standards.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate Full‑Truck‑Load (FTL) and Less‑Than‑Truck‑Load (LTL) shipments by truck and rail across Quebec, the GTA, the Maritimes and Western Canada.
• Schedule and monitor transportation plans, track shipments, and proactively resolve delays.
• Communicate daily with carriers, drivers, warehouses and internal teams to keep operations flowing.
• Maintain accurate documentation, including bills of lading and transportation records.
• Provide regular status updates to internal stakeholders and customers.

Required profile

• Bilingual in French and English (spoken and written).
• DEC in Logistics, Supply Chain or a related field.
• 3–5 years of experience in transportation or logistics coordination.
• Strong experience with FTL and LTL shipments; rail exposure is a plus.
• Demonstrated ability to handle multiple shipments in a high‑volume, fast‑paced environment.
• Willingness to work on‑site in Ville St‑Laurent.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Microsoft Outlook.
• Advanced Excel skills.
• Experience using warehouse management software.
