Tractor‑trailer driver, long haul

About the role

We are seeking an experienced long‑haul tractor‑trailer driver to join our team. You will operate both straight and articulated trucks, transporting goods across provincial, national and international routes while maintaining the highest standards of safety and customer service.

Key responsibilities

• Drive as part of a two‑person team or convoy on long‑distance routes, including mountain driving.
• Load, unload and secure cargo, handling loads up to 45 kg (100 lb).
• Perform pre‑trip, en‑route and post‑trip vehicle inspections and complete all required documentation.
• Address customer complaints or concerns professionally and relay information to central dispatch.
• Transport and handle dangerous goods in compliance with regulations.
• Maintain accurate records of cargo, hours of service, distance travelled and fuel consumption.

Required profile

• 2–3 years of experience driving tractor‑trailers on long‑haul routes.
• Valid Class 1 (or A) driver’s licence with Air Brake (Z) endorsement.
• Ability to work independently, travel cross‑border and stay overnight as required.
• Strong attention to detail and physical stamina for handling heavy loads.
