Yard Worker – Entry Level Position

About the role

We are constantly growing and currently looking for a Yard Worker. The role is responsible for organizing the yard and storage areas, handling pick‑ups and deliveries of materials and parts, and provides an entry‑level pathway into the trades.

Key responsibilities

• Work with shop teams to maintain a safe and positive work environment.
• Perform daily vehicle and trailer CVSE inspections.
• Operate company vehicles safely and comply with all traffic laws.
• Complete pick‑ups and deliveries of materials and parts.
• Unload, receive, and store raw and outsourced materials.
• Maintain cleanliness and upkeep of the yard, storage racks, and equipment.
• Transport materials to workstations as needed.
• Operate a saw to cut material when covering for saw operators.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Required profile

• High school graduate (Grade 12).
• Safety training and safe work habits.
• Valid Class 5 driver’s licence with a clean abstract.
• Post‑secondary training is an asset.
• Related work experience is an asset.

Required skills

• Vehicle operation.

• Material handling.
• CVSE inspection.
