Terminal Manager

About the role

The Terminal Manager will lead the Winnipeg Service Centre, overseeing all daily operations to ensure safe, efficient, and cost‑effective transportation services. Reporting to the Regional Operations Manager, you will drive performance, manage staff, and uphold corporate standards.

Key responsibilities

• Direct all operational activities of the Winnipeg Service Centre, aligning them with organizational goals.
• Manage employee performance, safety, and productivity, providing coaching and recognition.
• Develop, implement, and maintain policies and procedures for optimal terminal operations.
• Monitor and report key performance indicators (KPIs) accurately and on schedule.
• Control operational costs while maintaining service quality.
• Make independent decisions within your area of responsibility, evaluating alternatives as needed.

Required profile

• 2–5 years of experience in transportation or logistics operations.
• Experience working in a unionized environment is an asset.
• Proven ability to lead teams, solve problems analytically, and drive continuous improvement.
• Strong communication, leadership, and teamwork capabilities.
