Truck Driver – Class 1/1F/A – Winnipeg

About the role

We are seeking a reliable Truck Driver to operate straight or articulated trucks, transporting goods across Winnipeg and beyond. No prior experience required – full training will be provided.

Key responsibilities

• Drive and operate Class 1/1F/A semi‑trailer trucks, including mountain routes.
• Load, unload, tarp, and secure cargo ensuring safety and security.
• Inspect vehicle condition – tires, lights, brakes, cold storage, and perform preventive maintenance.
• Record cargo details, hours of service, distance travelled and fuel consumption.
• Perform brake adjustments, emergency roadside repairs and routine inspections.
• Use GPS and other navigation equipment to plan and follow routes.

Required profile

• Secondary school graduation.
• Willingness to travel cross‑border, overnight and for extended periods.
• Reliability, team‑player attitude and clean driving record.
• Pass criminal record check, driving record check and drug test.

Required skills

• Air Brakes Endorsement.
• Class 1/1F/A licence (semi‑trailer trucks).
• Proficiency with GPS navigation and vehicle inspection reports.
• Knowledge of driver logbook documentation.
