Temporary Full‑Time ICU Registered Nurse

About the role

Ross Memorial Hospital is seeking a Temporary Full‑Time Registered Nurse to join its Intensive Care Unit (ICU) in Lindsay, Ontario. The role supports cardiac, medical and surgical patients who require close monitoring, mechanical ventilation and advanced cardiac care.

Key responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in the ICU, including monitoring, assessment and intervention.
• Operate and manage mechanical ventilation and defibrillation equipment.
• Administer hemodynamic intravenous medications and perform I.V. therapy.
• Interpret cardiac rhythms and respond to emergencies using ACLS protocols.
• Document patient information accurately and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams.

Required profile

• Current registration with the College of Nurses of Ontario in good standing.
• Critical Care Certificate or willingness to obtain within one year.
• Recent experience (within five years) in critical care, mechanical ventilation and defibrillation.
• Current CPR and ACLS certifications.
• Ability to work 12‑hour day and night shifts, including weekends.
