Technology Project Manager

About the role

Canpar Express is seeking a Technology Project Manager to lead software and infrastructure projects from initiation through delivery. Reporting to the PMO Manager, you will coordinate cross‑functional teams, manage timelines, budgets, and risks, and ensure high‑quality outcomes that meet complex business requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Lead technology projects of varying size and complexity, adapting methodology as needed.
• Develop and maintain project plans, status reports, and stakeholder communications.
• Track milestones, adjust resources or scope proactively, and keep projects on schedule.
• Conduct stakeholder interviews to define scope, priorities, and constraints.
• Create project charters, business cases, and cost justifications when required.
• Engage IT and business stakeholders to design and deliver multi‑technology solutions.
• Hold stakeholders accountable for deliverables and facilitate course‑corrections.
• Translate technical work into clear updates for non‑technical audiences.
• Contribute to PMO standards, templates, processes, and governance frameworks.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in business, information systems, computer science, or a related field.
• Minimum 3 years of experience managing technology projects (infrastructure, web, cloud, or software).
• Strong communication, collaboration, and time‑management abilities.
• Analytical problem‑solving skills and a results‑oriented mindset.

Required skills

• Professional project‑management certification (e.g., CAPM, PMP, PMI‑ACP, CSM) – nice to have.
• Experience with change management, portfolio reporting, or capacity planning – nice to have.
