Technician I - Security

About the role

As a Technician I - Security at Bosch Building Technologies, you will support the installation, maintenance, and repair of integrated security systems. Working alongside experienced technicians, you will gain hands‑on experience with low‑voltage access control, CCTV, and pre‑wiring projects.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in system design and layout for security projects.
• Install, terminate, and test copper and fiber‑optic cables, connectors, and related components.
• Support the installation and servicing of electronic security systems, including pre‑wiring, programming, commissioning, troubleshooting, and maintenance of access control, CCTV, and intrusion alarm systems.
• Provide customer training and respond to technical inquiries.
• Maintain relationships with clients and prospects for future opportunities.
• Complete administrative duties such as project updates, documentation filing, and reporting to Project Managers.
• Work night shifts when required by project or service needs.

Required profile

• 1‑3 years of experience in a technical role within the integrated security industry.
• Proficiency in cable pulling, installation, and basic troubleshooting.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work well with customers and team members.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean abstract.
• Ability to work independently and adapt to changing project requirements.
