Technician – Equipment Delivery & Installation

About the role

Join National Seating & Mobility as a Technician and play a vital part in delivering, installing, and servicing complex rehabilitation seating and mobility systems across Canada. You will work directly with clients, caregivers, and healthcare professionals to ensure safe and effective use of our equipment.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver, transfer, and install all NSM equipment at client locations.
• Repair and adjust equipment or coordinate repairs with in‑store technicians.
• Label each item with a barcode and NSM identifier.
• Conduct safety inspections to verify proper installation and functionality.
• Maintain accurate service documentation and delivery records.
• Provide clear explanations to clients and caregivers on equipment use and care.
• Support company programs with professionalism, empathy, and adherence to safety regulations.
• Assist with inventory management and other assigned tasks.

Required profile

• Experience in equipment delivery, installation, or a related technical field.
• Valid driver’s licence and eligibility to work in Canada.
• Ability to lift up to 75 lb, work in confined spaces, and bend frequently.
• Strong verbal communication skills and a team‑oriented attitude.
• Problem‑solving ability based on non‑technical customer descriptions.
