Team Leader, Deposits Operations

About the role

The Team Leader, Deposits Operations will coach and develop a team responsible for processing deposit requests, ensuring high quality, productivity and compliance with legal and regulatory standards. Reporting to the Manager of Deposit Operations, the role also supports senior management with reporting and relationship building.

Key responsibilities

• Provide coaching, feedback and performance reviews to team members.
• Prioritize daily workload to maximise efficiency and meet service‑level targets.
• Resolve escalated client or broker issues and coordinate with internal and external partners.
• Develop and present statistical and status reports for management.
• Monitor workflow queues and dashboards to ensure targets are achieved.
• Identify and recommend process improvements for efficiency, service and quality.
• Participate in ongoing training and cross‑training initiatives.

Required profile

• Proven experience in deposits or related banking operations.
• Strong knowledge of compliance, regulatory and risk requirements.
• Ability to lead, motivate and develop a team.
• Excellent analytical and reporting skills.
• Effective communication with internal and external stakeholders.
