Team Lead – Nurse Recruitment

About the role

HEABC is seeking a Team Lead to oversee its Nurse Recruitment program. This senior position guides a team that supports the recruitment and retention of registered nurses across British Columbia, contributing to the province’s health‑care system.

Key responsibilities

• Establish and maintain effective relationships with internal and external partners, including the Ministry of Health, health authorities, regulatory bodies, educational institutions and community representatives.
• Provide direct supervision and support to designated staff, including task prioritisation, performance feedback and evaluations.
• Manage daily program operations, monitor risks and ensure compliance with provincial standards.
• Lead strategic planning, project initiatives and continuous quality‑improvement efforts.
• Support province‑wide recruitment and retention strategies for nurses.
• Foster an inclusive, high‑performance work environment.

Required profile

• Demonstrated passion for recruitment and customer service.
• Strong interest in making a positive impact on BC communities.
• Leadership experience with the ability to supervise and develop staff.
• Ability to work in a hybrid model and reside within commuting distance of the Vancouver office.
