International Healthcare Recruiter – Canada

About the role

We are looking for an experienced International Healthcare Recruiter to support our North American clients, primarily in Ontario, Canada. You will play a key part in sourcing, screening, and hiring nurses, personal support workers, and community workers to meet growing staffing demands.

Key responsibilities

• Source, screen, and recruit qualified healthcare candidates for positions in Ontario.
• Conduct interviews, assess skills and qualifications, and verify that candidates meet client requirements.
• Collaborate closely with Canadian clients to understand their specific workforce needs and provide tailored recruitment solutions.
• Advertise job openings across multiple platforms and proactively engage potential candidates.
• Ensure all hires comply with Ontario licensing, certification, and regulatory standards.
• Maintain a talent pipeline of qualified healthcare professionals for future hiring needs.
• Facilitate smooth onboarding and deliver a positive candidate experience through clear communication.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 + years of recruitment experience, with at least 1 year in the healthcare sector.
• Strong understanding of the Canadian healthcare system and Ontario-specific regulations.
• Excellent communication, relationship‑building, and negotiation abilities.
• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field (preferred).

Required skills

• Proficiency with Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS).
• Experience using job boards for candidate sourcing.
• Social media recruiting strategies.
