Team Lead, Account Lifecycle

About the role

This position is for a Team Lead, Account Lifecycle based in Canada, within a fast‑growing financial technology company. You will lead a high‑performing operations team, drive process improvements, and ensure exceptional client experiences throughout the account lifecycle.

Key responsibilities

• Lead, coach and develop Operations Associates and Senior Associates, setting clear expectations and supporting career growth.
• Establish performance standards, monitor metrics, and ensure service‑level agreements and operational goals are met.
• Guide the team beyond transactional work by involving them in strategic initiatives and cross‑functional projects.
• Conduct performance reviews, create development plans, and provide ongoing feedback.
• Analyze operational metrics, identify gaps, perform root‑cause analysis, and implement scalable solutions.
• Maintain hands‑on knowledge of account lifecycle processes to resolve escalations and complex client issues.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to align priorities, improve processes, and meet regulatory requirements.
• Use SQL and data‑visualisation tools to build dashboards, track trends, and support data‑informed decisions.
• Identify automation opportunities and continuously update procedures.

Required profile

• 2‑3+ years of operations experience, with at least 1 year in a leadership role.
• Strong analytical thinking and a passion for process improvement.
• Experience working in a regulated financial environment.
• Proven ability to lead teams, drive performance, and develop talent.
