About the role
We are seeking two graduate‑level Teaching Assistants to support the Fall 2026 Social Work courses SWRK 319 (Critical Thought and Ethics) and SWRK 321 (Introduction to Practice with Groups) at McGill University’s School of Social Work. The positions are paid at $38.46 per hour and are open to enrolled graduate students in good academic standing.
Key responsibilities
- Grade assignments and provide written feedback to students.
- Attend weekly lectures for the assigned course.
- Facilitate small‑group discussions and workshop sessions.
Required profile
- Current graduate student enrolled in the School of Social Work at McGill University.
- Good academic standing.
- Strong written and oral communication skills in English and French.
- Authorized to work in Canada and willing to work on the Quebec campus.
Required skills
- Effective academic writing and feedback.
- Ability to lead and moderate small‑group activities.
