About the role
The Department of Pharmacology & Therapeutics at McGill University is seeking two graduate students to serve as Teaching Assistants for the Introduction to Pharmacology 2 (PHAR 201) course during the Winter 2027 term. The TA will support the instructor by facilitating classroom activities, tutorials, and assessments, ensuring a high‑quality learning experience for undergraduate students.
Key responsibilities
- Attend and assist in scheduled class sessions.
- Run tutorial groups and provide academic support.
- Set up and invigilate midterm and final examinations.
- Mark short‑answer questions for midterm and final exams.
- Review exam results with students and address their queries.
- Upload course materials to the myCourses learning platform.
Required profile
- Graduate student who has successfully completed PHAR 562 and PHAR 563 (or equivalent).
- Strong command of English to assist international students.
- Excellent communication skills and attention to detail.
- Comfortable marking short‑answer exam questions.
