TDM Outreach Specialist – Transportation Demand Management

About the role

Alta Planning + Design is seeking a TDM Outreach Specialist (Level I or II) to join its Los Angeles office. The specialist will help connect people to sustainable transportation options, supporting a portfolio of projects across the greater Los Angeles area.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and deliver public outreach activities for commuter, employer, and community programs.
• Provide high‑quality customer service to commuters, employers, agencies, and vendors.
• Assist in implementing TDM initiatives such as rideshare, vanpool, transit promotion, active‑transport programs, parking management, and first/last‑mile solutions.
• Communicate program details clearly to diverse audiences and support event logistics, including evenings and weekends.
• Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to turn policies into usable programs.
