Tax Consultant, Global Mobility Services

About the role

Join KPMG’s Global Mobility Services practice in Montreal, working directly with Tax Managers and Partners to deliver Canadian and U.S. compliance tax services for international clients. You will handle a mix of technical, administrative, and support tasks while collaborating with senior leadership.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare personal Canadian and U.S. tax returns for individuals with cross‑border income.
• Maintain accurate client files and ensure timely completion of returns and schedules.
• Follow up on notices of assessment and communicate outcomes to clients.
• Provide support to team members on related tax tasks.
• Conduct tax research and stay current on regulatory changes.
• Leverage AI tools to improve efficiency and streamline routine processes.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years of experience in a public accounting firm.
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Business or equivalent.
• 1‑2 years of experience preparing Canadian and/or U.S. personal tax returns.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills in both French and English.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
