Tax Accountant – Estates & Trusts (Full-time)

About the role
We are seeking a Tax Accountant to join our boutique CPA firm in downtown Vancouver. The role focuses on estates and trusts tax compliance, offering the chance to develop expertise in personal, corporate and trust tax filings while working closely with a supportive team.
Key responsibilities
- Prepare T1 personal, T2 corporate and T3 trust (including estates) tax returns for a diverse client base.
- Research tax legislation, provisions and jurisprudence to provide compliance and planning advice.
- Communicate with the Canada Revenue Agency, financial institutions and legal advisors on behalf of clients.
- Collaborate with colleagues to develop tax strategies and identify opportunities.
- Maintain accurate records and ensure timely filing of all required tax forms.
Required profile
- Post‑secondary education in business, finance or accounting.
- 0–2 years of experience in accounting or taxation.
- Strong analytical, problem‑solving and organizational abilities.
- High attention to detail and accuracy with numbers.
- Professional communication skills and ability to handle confidential information.
Required skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word.
