Talent Manager - Finance & Accounting Contract Talent

About the role

Robert Half is hiring a Talent Manager for its Finance & Accounting contract talent business in Ontario. Talent Managers work in a team and negotiate and develop business with new and current clients, reaching hiring managers and decision-makers in accounting and finance departments by telephone, video and in-person meetings.

Key responsibilities

• Recruit, interview and match highly skilled professionals with clients' projects, contract assignments and contract-to-full-time opportunities
• Manage ongoing engagements to deliver outstanding customer service to clients and candidates
• Provide ongoing communication and career guidance to candidates
• Take part in local trade association and networking events to grow Robert Half's presence in the local business community

Required profile

• Degree preferred
• 1+ years of industry experience preferred
• 2+ years of business development in a metrics-driven environment, with at least one success developing new business in a multi-call, multi-decision-maker setting
• Proven success marketing to and closing top-level decision-makers at small and medium-sized businesses and building long-term relationships
• Knowledge of industry department operations and a positive, businesslike approach

Required skills

• Working knowledge of Windows operating systems
• Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel
• Contact management applications such as Salesforce

What we offer

• Salary range of $70,000 to $80,000, negotiable depending on experience and location
• Base salary and bonus pay for talent professional positions
