Talent Acquisition Specialist

About the role

We are seeking a proactive Talent Acquisition Specialist to lead end‑to‑end recruiting for sales, operations and corporate functions at MainMicro, a fast‑growing IT reseller in Montreal. You will be the first point of contact for top talent, ensuring a seamless and engaging candidate experience that reflects our culture.

Key responsibilities

• Own the full recruiting cycle – sourcing, screening, interviewing and closing – for a variety of roles across the organization.
• Partner with hiring managers to define role requirements, hiring criteria and develop tailored recruiting strategies.
• Proactively build and maintain pipelines of active and passive candidates using LinkedIn, referrals and niche IT/tech networks.
• Track and report on metrics such as time‑to‑fill, source effectiveness and pipeline health to continuously improve the process.
• Represent MainMicro’s employer brand and gather feedback to refine the candidate experience.

• Demonstrated success in full‑cycle recruiting with a focus on quality hires.
• Natural hunter mindset – able to source passive talent and build relationships before positions open.
• Comfortable thriving in a fast‑paced, evolving environment.
• Strong interpersonal instincts and credibility to advise hiring managers.
• Genuine curiosity about the IT channel and the traits of high‑performing sales and technical talent.
