Talent Acquisition Representative

About the role

The City of Toronto’s People & Equity Division is looking for dynamic, results‑oriented Talent Acquisition Representatives to support end‑to‑end recruitment and onboarding for both union and non‑union positions. This hybrid role combines administrative excellence with high‑quality customer service in a fast‑paced municipal environment.

Key responsibilities

• Assist the Talent Acquisition team with full‑cycle recruitment, including posting jobs in SuccessFactors, managing external advertising, and preparing candidate communications.
• Coordinate virtual and in‑person assessments, schedule interviews, and draft employment offer letters.
• Facilitate onboarding in SuccessFactors and SAP, tracking electronic signatures, document uploads, and follow‑up tasks.
• Collaborate with Payroll and P&E teams to resolve onboarding discrepancies.
• Maintain accurate electronic recruitment files and leverage the city’s applicant tracking system.
• Respond to inquiries from staff, clients, and candidates regarding policies and job competitions.
• Prepare and process confidential documents with attention to detail.
• Provide software‑related support, compile data, and generate reports while meeting service level agreements.
