Talent Acquisition Intern

About the role

Join Foundant’s Talent Acquisition team as an intern, supporting the full recruitment lifecycle for mission‑driven organizations. You’ll gain hands‑on experience in candidate outreach, interview coordination, and data‑driven recruiting processes while working remotely.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct screening calls to assess candidate qualifications, motivation, and fit.
• Schedule interviews and coordinate interview panels with hiring managers and team members.
• Participate in hiring‑manager discovery calls to capture and clarify role requirements.
• Assist in formatting and maintaining job description templates and other recruiting documents.
• Source and pre‑screen resumes to identify strong candidate matches.
• Maintain spreadsheet trackers for candidate pipelines and recruiting metrics, highlighting trends.
• Provide day‑to‑day administrative support for the Talent Acquisition team and draft professional candidate communications.
• Ensure a positive candidate experience throughout the hiring process, handling difficult conversations with tact.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Required profile

• Currently pursuing or recently completed a post‑secondary degree in Human Resources, Business, or a related field.
• Strong time‑management skills and ability to juggle multiple conversations and deadlines.
• Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
• Comfortable working with spreadsheets (Excel or Google Sheets) to track candidates and metrics.
• Genuine interest in talent acquisition and recruiting.
