Systems Administrator

About the role

We are looking for a versatile Systems Administrator to join Rebel’s technology team. You’ll work directly with Juan, our Director of Technology, helping evolve our hosting infrastructure, support clients, and keep our Windows, Linux and AWS environments running smoothly.

Key responsibilities

• Manage Windows and Linux servers.
• Support AWS infrastructure (IAM, networking, compute, storage).
• Maintain hosting platforms such as Plesk and WordPress and assist with migrations.
• Manage endpoints and user access, including onboarding and off‑boarding.
• Improve documentation and internal processes.
• Troubleshoot production issues and participate in incident response.
• Participate in an on‑call rotation.
• Strengthen security posture through patching, access controls, and audit logs.
• Automate repetitive tasks wherever possible.

Required profile

• Generalist mindset able to move between diverse problems.
• Strong networking fundamentals and protocols (DNS, HTTP, etc.).li>
• Adaptable, takes ownership, stays calm under pressure, communicates clearly, and continuously learns.
• Enjoys solving problems and is comfortable saying “I don’t know – but I’ll figure it out.”

Required skills

• Windows Server administration.
• Linux system administration on production servers.
• AWS services (IAM, networking, compute, storage).

• Configuration management tools such as Ansible.
• Git version control.
• Virtualization technologies.
• Infrastructure‑as‑code tools like Terraform.
• Scripting and automation (e.g., Bash, PowerShell).

• Incident management experience.
