Supply Planner Manager

About the role

The Supply Planner Manager is responsible for generating net requirements, preparing weekly and monthly supply plans, and creating deployment plans that align with the demand plan. Working in a hybrid setting at Nestlé Canada’s North York office, the role collaborates with procurement, finance, sales and other cross‑functional teams to ensure product availability while managing inventory freshness and supply constraints.

Key responsibilities

• Generate net requirements for plants and vendors and develop supply and deployment plans on a weekly/monthly basis.
• Consider network complexity, inventory targets, and supply constraints, including freshness levels.
• Create and evaluate supply scenarios, assessing feasibility, risks and opportunities.
• Manage load planning between factories, distribution centres and customers to optimise shipments and meet service‑level targets.
• Lead mid‑large strategic projects such as portfolio assessments, process improvements and supply‑chain optimisation initiatives.
• Represent the broader supply planning team on key business initiatives, annual planning cycles and strategic long‑term planning.

Required profile

• Experience managing a complex supply planning portfolio with higher‑complexity items.
• Proven ability to work cross‑functionally with procurement, finance, sales and operations teams.
• Strong analytical mindset for scenario planning and risk evaluation.
• Leadership experience on strategic projects and process‑mapping initiatives.
