Supply Chain Coordinator

About the role

The Supply Chain Coordinator will lead all purchasing and supply‑chain activities for Earth Drilling’s Canadian operations, combining strategic forecasting with hands‑on execution. This full‑time, onsite role supports the company’s drilling projects across Western Canada.

Key responsibilities

• Purchase a variety of commodities, equipment, and services while establishing and maintaining contracts and effective vendor relationships.
• Negotiate contracts and manage supplier performance through regular meetings and evaluations.
• Plan purchases based on operational schedules, handle import logistics, and prepare customs documentation.
• Coordinate the movement, pickup, and delivery of equipment and materials, resolving in‑transit issues and claims.
• Onboard new suppliers, maintain documentation and approvals, and manage supplier payments, deposits, and invoice discrepancy resolution with Finance.
• Drive cost‑saving initiatives, supplier optimization projects, and strengthen supply‑chain resiliency through proactive risk identification.
• Manage materials planning, forecasting, and inventory levels to balance warehousing costs and supply continuity.

Required profile

• 5+ years of supply‑chain experience, including purchasing in an industrial or drilling environment.
• Relevant post‑secondary credentials or equivalent experience.
• Strong attention to detail, organizational abilities, and effective communication skills.
• Experience with import logistics and customs documentation.
• Proven ability to drive cost‑saving initiatives and supplier optimization projects.
