Structured Cabling Technician I

About the role

We are seeking experienced low‑voltage technicians to join Bosch Building Technologies as Structured Cabling Technicians I. You will work on large‑scale data, AV, and CCTV installations, translating project blueprints into reliable, client‑focused solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Install and service cabling infrastructure (Cat5/6, fiber optic) and related devices for data, AV, and CCTV.
• Terminate, label, test, and document installations according to specifications and drawings.
• Install network racks, cabinets, and patch panels in server rooms and other environments.
• Interact professionally with customers, handling inquiries and ensuring high service standards.
• Follow Bosch’s Quality and Safety programs, complete OHS checks, packing slips, checklists, as‑builts, and test reports.
• Travel to job sites and work overtime on an ad‑hoc basis as required.

Required profile

• 1‑3 years of technical experience in the integrated security or low‑voltage industry.
• Proven ability to pull, terminate, and test Cat5/6 and fiber optic cables.
• Experience installing racks, cabinets, and other low‑voltage systems (CCTV, access control, AV, wireless, unified communications, nurse call, RTLS).
• Comfortable working at heights and lifting up to 50 lb.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean abstract and ability to pass background checks.
