Strategic Buyer – Standard Parts

About the role

Airbus is looking for a Strategic Buyer focused on standard parts to join its Materials and Parts procurement team in Mirabel, Quebec. The role consolidates cross‑functional activities, establishes governance, and drives the team’s performance dashboard.

Key responsibilities

• Consolidate transversal activities such as projects, planning, cost control, risk and opportunity management.
• Implement and manage governance processes and the activity calendar, including roadmap reviews and internal steering committee interactions.
• Support the deployment and continuous improvement of the team’s performance dashboard.
• Maintain the rhythm of procurement activities and ensure alignment with business objectives.

Required profile

• Proven experience in purchasing, preferably within an industrial or aerospace environment.
• Strong desire to develop new competencies and grow within a strategic procurement function.
• Ability to work collaboratively across multiple functions and manage complex schedules.
