Storekeeper Helper

About the role

The Storekeeper Helper supports the Storekeeper on MV Isabelle X and Saga‑Company vessels operating out of Squamish, BC. This hands‑on position focuses on receiving, storing, and issuing food, supplies, chemicals and other operational stock for galley operations.

Key responsibilities

• Receive and store deliveries of fresh, frozen, refrigerated, dry goods, beverages, cleaning supplies, chemicals and disposables.
• Issue products to galley areas based on approved requisitions, par levels and production needs.
• Pull, push, stage and move pallets, carts, totes, bins and heavy cases using vessel‑approved material‑handling equipment.
• Break down pallets, maintain clear aisles, safe walkways and properly stacked storage areas.
• Follow food‑safety and temperature‑control procedures during handling and storage.
• Report unsafe loads, damaged pallets, trip hazards or equipment defects immediately.

Required profile

• Physical ability to lift and move items up to 25 kg repeatedly.
• Strong attention to detail for food safety, product rotation and cleanliness.
• Ability to work safely in a maritime environment and follow HSE guidelines.

What we offer

• Rotational schedule for three years with possible extension
• Hourly wage between CAD 18.50 and CAD 21.00
