Store Manager Optician (Maternity Coverage) – Upper Canada Mall

About the role

Bailey Nelson is seeking a Store Manager Optician to lead the Upper Canada Mall location in Newmarket, Ontario, covering a maternity leave period. You will be responsible for guiding a passionate team, ensuring an outstanding customer experience, and achieving store performance targets.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and motivate the store team to deliver the best possible eyecare and eyewear experience daily.
• Achieve monthly sales and performance goals while maintaining high service standards.
• Oversee all operational aspects of the store, including inventory, staffing, and scheduling.
• Collaborate closely with store optometrists to grow both the clinic and retail segments.

Required profile

• Fully licensed Optician in Ontario, in good standing with the College of Opticians of Ontario.
• Previous experience as a Senior Assistant Store Manager or Store Manager.
• Strong passion for delivering exceptional customer experiences.
• Energetic, adaptable, and able to lead by example with a positive attitude.
• Proven ability to manage time and store operations without compromising service.
• Commitment to developing and motivating team members.
• Drive to achieve results and meet targets.
