Stockworker – Warehouse Operations (R9)

About the role

The Warehouse Operations Team at BC Public Service is seeking a Stockworker (R9) to support the Product Distribution Centre in Coquitlam. In this on‑site position you will handle receiving, inventory control, picking, packing, storage and shipping of temperature‑controlled medical and government supplies.

Key responsibilities

• Receive and unload shipments using pallet jacks, forklifts and order pickers.
• Maintain accurate inventory records in the SAP ERP system.
• Pick, pack and prepare orders for delivery, including use of RF scanning or voice‑pick technology.
• Operate material handling equipment safely and comply with Health Canada regulations for medical devices.
• Load outbound shipments onto third‑party carriers such as Loomis and Purolator.
• Perform routine housekeeping and ensure a clean, safe warehouse environment.

Required profile

• Secondary school graduation or equivalent.
• At least one year of warehouse experience and ability to lift up to 50 lb.
• Valid BC Class 5 (or higher) driver’s licence.
• Good physical condition for standing, walking and bending.

Required skills

• Operation of pallet jacks, forklifts and order pickers.
• Proficiency with SAP (or similar ERP) and Microsoft Office 365 (Outlook, Word, Excel).
• Experience with RF scanners, voice‑pick systems and automated shipping platforms (Loomis, Purolator).
• Knowledge of Transportation and Handling of Dangerous Goods (TDG) certification.
