About the role
The Shipping and Receiving Supervisor will lead the daily logistics operations at our Coquitlam facility, ensuring efficient flow of goods in and out of the warehouse. This role combines planning, coordination, and team leadership to maintain high productivity and product quality.
Key responsibilities
- Develop and prioritize operational plans for shipping and receiving activities.
- Organize tasks, coordinate with other departments, and manage inventory levels.
- Prepare and submit operational reports and ensure smooth operation of equipment.
- Arrange maintenance, troubleshoot issues, and recommend productivity improvements.
- Recruit, hire, train, and evaluate staff; conduct performance reviews.
- Requisition materials, manage supplies, and maintain accurate inventory records.
Required profile
- College/CEGEP education.
- 3 to less than 5 years of experience in logistics, shipping, or receiving supervision.
