Stock & Options Trader (Contractor) – Toronto

About the role

We are looking for experienced stock and options traders to join our professional trading firm as independent contractors. You will trade firm capital in equity and options markets, keeping a significant share of the profits while benefiting from institutional‑level tools and a supportive community.

Key responsibilities

• Trade firm capital across equity and options markets.
• Manage risk and position sizing in line with firm guidelines.
• Monitor market news, technical and fundamental data to identify trading opportunities.
• Maintain detailed trade logs and performance reports.

Required profile

• Minimum 2 years of experience actively trading stocks or options, or managing personal investment accounts.
• Demonstrated ability to generate consistent profits.
• Comfort working independently as an independent contractor (1099).
• Strong analytical mindset and disciplined risk management.

Required skills

• Proficiency in equity and options trading platforms.
• Understanding of options strategies such as spreads, straddles, and hedges.
• Ability to interpret market data and charts.
