About the role
The Express Scripts Canada Pharmacy is seeking a Staff Pharmacist to join its Pharmacy Operations team in Ontario. You will dispense maintenance, acute and specialty medications while ensuring compliance with corporate and regulatory standards.
Key responsibilities
- Verify prescriptions for accuracy, proper labeling, and controlled substance validity.
- Provide oversight and quality assurance to pharmacy technicians.
- Offer patient counseling on new prescriptions and address clinical queries.
- Train and mentor less‑experienced pharmacists and technicians.
- Maintain daily production, quality, and service levels using Kroll Pharmacy software.
- Serve as backup for other pharmacists as needed.
Required profile
- Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy or PharmD.
- Experience in a retail or mail‑order pharmacy setting preferred.
Required skills
- Kroll Pharmacy software
What we offer
- Permanent, on‑site position.
- Hourly pay range $47–$53 CAD.
