SRP Tracer Study Consultant

About the role

WUSC is seeking a consultant to lead a comprehensive tracer study of its Student Refugee Program (SRP). The study will assess academic, social, and economic outcomes for refugee students and provide evidence to guide future program expansion in Canada.

Key responsibilities

• Design and implement the tracer study methodology, including data collection instruments and sampling strategy.
• Analyze short‑ and long‑term outcomes for SRP participants, their families, and communities.
• Examine the impact of extended financial support beyond the first 12 months of sponsorship.
• Compare different SRP funding models to identify factors that enhance student success and program sustainability.
• Produce a detailed report with actionable recommendations for WUSC leadership and partners.

Required profile

• Advanced degree in education research, social sciences, or a related field.
• Proven experience conducting longitudinal studies or tracer studies in the education or refugee sector.
• Strong analytical skills and ability to translate data into clear policy recommendations.
• Excellent written communication skills in English.
