Software QA Analyst – Test Automation

About the role

Software QA Analyst works on testing activities to ensure the quality and reliability of Circle’s software products. The role participates in all levels of project testing including usability, integration, regression, system performance and user acceptance.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and report root cause of defects and issues found during testing, and create, modify, execute test cases to verify business requirements and functional specifications.
• Work closely with scientific advisors and physicians to test algorithms within clinical workflows.
• Learn basic cardiac anatomy and DICOM medical images quickly.
• Troubleshoot issues discovered during testing and assist in problem analysis.
• Communicate daily and weekly progress to the assigned scrum team.
• Establish and maintain thorough and accurate documentation of all work.
• Perform regular or on‑demand execution of automated regression tests.
• Conduct functional, integration, regression, and performance/load testing on multiple platforms (Mac, Windows, Linux).

Required profile

• 3+ years of software testing experience with automation script development.
• Strong analytical, critical‑thinking and problem‑solving abilities.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills and ability to collaborate across geographic locations and cultures.
• Coding experience in Javascript and Python is a plus.
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, software engineering, biological sciences/medical/healthcare or a related field.
