Software Engineering Manager

About the role

Flair Airlines is seeking a Software Engineering Manager to lead a cross‑functional team that designs, develops, and delivers high‑quality web, mobile, and backend applications. Reporting to the Director of Software Engineering, you will ensure that engineering initiatives align with product priorities and business goals.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and manage a team of engineers across frontend (Next.js/React), mobile (Flutter), and backend (Python/.NET) development.
• Own end‑to‑end delivery of software features, ensuring on‑time, high‑quality releases.
• Oversee sprint planning, backlog refinement, delivery tracking, and resource allocation.
• Identify and remove technical and operational blockers, managing risks and dependencies.
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to foster a collaborative, high‑performance culture.

Required profile

• Strong people‑leadership skills with experience managing software engineering teams.
• Solid technical foundation in modern web, mobile, and backend technologies.
• Proven ability to drive execution and deliver reliable, secure, high‑performing solutions.
