Software Engineer – Web & Cloud Tools

About the role

The QCT Software Automation and Tools (QSWAT) group is looking for a Software Engineer to design, develop, test and maintain web‑based and cloud‑hosted tools that support Qualcomm’s CI/CD ecosystem. You will work on a modern, AI‑enhanced stack across the full stack, from React/TypeScript front‑ends to .NET Core and Python back‑ends.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, test and maintain web applications and backend services.
• Implement features using React/TypeScript front‑ends and .NET Core or Python back‑ends.
• Write clean, maintainable code with unit (Vitest, xUnit) and integration tests.
• Build and consume RESTful APIs following team standards, including OpenAPI documentation.
• Work with SQL Server for data modeling, querying and performance tuning.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies such as sprint planning, stand‑ups, retrospectives and demos.
• Debug issues, analyse root causes and propose fixes for moderately complex problems.
• Collaborate with teammates and cross‑functional partners, contribute to code reviews and document design decisions.
• Use AI‑assisted development tools to accelerate workflows.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science or a related field.
