Software Engineer (New Grad) – Cases Product

About the role

EvenUp is seeking a motivated new‑graduate Software Engineer to join the Cases Product team. You will help build and enhance the integration engine that powers legal‑tech solutions for personal injury lawyers and their clients.

Key responsibilities

• Own the full software lifecycle from concept through deployment and iteration.
• Collaborate with backend engineers, product owners, and designers to create efficient, innovative solutions.
• Gather requirements from stakeholders and translate them into technical designs.
• Design and develop integration interfaces and architecture.
• Document technical interface requirements and convert specifications into code.
• Write clean, performant code across multiple languages and frameworks.
• Optimize application performance and responsiveness for a smooth user experience.

Required profile

• Internship experience or up to 1 year of hands‑on development of applications and services.
• Experience integrating with third‑party vendors and building reliable integration frameworks.
• Proficiency in designing and implementing RESTful APIs and a willingness to mentor peers.
• Strong foundation in software fundamentals, data structures, algorithms, and design patterns.
• Familiarity with protocols such as SOAP, REST, and GraphQL.
