Software Engineer Co-op – Investment Tech & Data Analytics

About the role

Join the Investment Tech and Data & Analytics team at BCI as a Software Engineer Co‑op. You will support business clients by developing, enhancing, and maintaining a portfolio of vendor and web‑based applications while gaining hands‑on experience in a fast‑paced financial technology environment.

Key responsibilities

• Provide analytical and programming support for new and existing applications.
• Resolve day‑to‑day issues on complex systems across multiple platforms.
• Research problems, define design specifications, and present solutions to business clients.
• Translate user requirements into technical specifications and document changes.
• Engage with vendors, participate in change control, and support software releases.
• Maintain documentation in Jira and Confluence and contribute to Kanban/Scrum activities.

Required profile

• University‑level coursework in computer science or related field.
• Strong analytical, problem‑solving and design abilities.
• Effective technical writing and communication skills.
• Team‑player attitude with a drive to learn and grow.
• Professionalism, attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines.
