Firmware QA Analyst Co-op

About the role

Join Reliable Controls as a Firmware QA Analyst Co‑op and help ensure high‑quality building controller products. You will validate features, execute test plans, and work with a variety of hardware, software, and network protocols.

Key responsibilities

• Execute test plans for hardware and software products.
• Record test results and issues using testing and bug‑tracking tools.
• Troubleshoot to verify and diagnose causes of issues.
• Verify functional requirements.
• Validate that resolved bugs are fixed.

Required profile

• Completed relevant coursework in Computer Science, Software or Computer Engineering.
• Knowledge of TCP/UDP network protocols.
• Experience in the IT field.
• Outstanding communication skills.
• Strong analytical, diagnostic, and problem‑solving abilities.
• Desire to figure out how to break things and put them back together.
• Detail‑oriented mindset with the ability to isolate problems into repeatable steps.
