Software Developer

About the role

Avant Techno Solutions is looking for a motivated Software Developer to join its fast‑paced Toronto team. You will work on a variety of applications ranging from e‑commerce platforms to interactive media and will support clients after sale.

Key responsibilities

• Write, modify, integrate and test software code.
• Maintain and enhance existing programs.
• Communicate technical problems, processes and solutions to stakeholders.
• Prepare reports, manuals and documentation on software status and maintenance.
• Assist in gathering and documenting user requirements and developing logical/physical specifications.
• Research, evaluate and prototype new software products, including animation and special‑effects tools.
• Manage incidents and provide post‑sale support, including robotic process automation solutions.

Required profile

• 3 to 5 years of professional software development experience.
• Ability to work under pressure, meet tight deadlines and handle repetitive tasks with attention to detail.
• Strong written and oral communication skills.
• Client‑focused attitude with a proactive, organized approach.
• Team player who demonstrates integrity and accountability.

Required skills

• C programming language.
• Java programming language.
• SQL database querying.
• JSON (JavaScript Object Notation) handling.
• Robotic Process Automation (RPA) concepts.
