Software Developer II

About the role

We are looking for a Software Developer II to join Bentley Systems’ product team. Working under the Software Director and Project Owner, you will help design, build and maintain new features for our engineering software solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Participate in the design and development of new features using JavaScript, TypeScript and React.
• Write well‑tested, well‑documented code and APIs, and take part in code reviews.
• Provide and receive constructive feedback, ensuring high code quality.
• Adopt test‑driven and maintainable coding practices.
• Continuously learn and integrate emerging technologies.
• Collaborate in an agile environment with Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery pipelines.
• Own the functionality you develop from conception through deployment.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or equivalent.
• At least two years of full‑time professional software development experience.
• Strong commitment to writing clean, maintainable code.
• Ability to work effectively in a team and adapt to agile processes.
