Software Developer – Full Stack (Always Hiring)

About the role

Loop is a fast‑growing fintech startup building a cross‑border banking platform. As a Software Developer you will work on the full technology stack that powers modern global banking, from customer‑facing interfaces to core backend services. The role is based onsite at our downtown Toronto office.

Key responsibilities

• Design, build, test and deploy end‑to‑end features across the stack, including React front‑ends and backend APIs.
• Develop secure, scalable financial systems that handle cross‑border payments, ledgers and integrations with banks.
• Write automated tests, improve monitoring, and troubleshoot production issues to ensure platform reliability.
• Collaborate with product managers, designers and fellow engineers to translate ideas into technical solutions.
• Participate in code reviews, architectural discussions and technical decision‑making.
• Own the full lifecycle of your work from concept through production deployment.

Required profile

• Passion for building high‑impact fintech products.
• Experience with large‑scale or distributed systems is a plus.
• Ability to work effectively in a small, highly capable engineering team.
• Strong problem‑solving skills and attention to detail.
