About the role

Google is looking for a Software Developer to help shape the user experience of its next‑generation Android glasses platform. You will work on designing and building intuitive home‑screen and AI‑driven interfaces that define how users interact with wearable devices.

Key responsibilities

• Design and implement user‑centric UI components for Android glasses, from concept through deployment.
• Develop foundational platform features that enable seamless integration of AI agents and graphical interfaces.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to iterate on designs, ensure performance at scale, and maintain high code quality.
• Contribute to the evolution of Android’s wearable ecosystem by integrating emerging technologies such as natural language processing and large language models.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
• Minimum of 2 years of professional software development experience using Kotlin.
• Experience with Java or other mobile development frameworks (e.g., Jetpack Compose).
• Demonstrated ability to learn new programming languages and technologies quickly.
• Familiarity with Android app development, mobile UI design, and concepts in natural language processing.
