Social Media Listening Manager

About the role

We are looking for a Social Media Listening Manager to lead the monitoring and analysis of brand, competitor and industry conversations across major social platforms. This remote, 14‑month contract role supports our Brand, Design, Social & Sponsorship team in Canada, providing actionable insights that drive business decisions.

Key responsibilities

• Build, optimise and maintain social listening queries, dashboards and automated alerts using enterprise platforms.
• Monitor conversations to detect emerging trends, sentiment shifts, reputational risks and escalate high‑priority issues.
• Deliver weekly and monthly reports on sentiment, share of voice, conversation trends and engagement themes.
• Support rapid‑turnaround analysis for campaigns, product launches, crises and major events.
• Develop scorecards and insight‑driven reporting, translating complex data into clear business recommendations.
• Manage tagging structures, documentation and knowledge repositories in SharePoint and OneDrive.
• Participate in an on‑call rotation and identify opportunities to improve efficiency and scalability of the social intelligence program.

Required profile

• 3+ years of hands‑on experience in social listening, social intelligence or digital insights roles.
• Strong understanding of the digital and social media landscape, preferably within financial services or banking.
• Bilingual in French and English.
• Post‑secondary degree in any discipline.

Required skills

• Experience with Sprinklr, Brandwatch, Synthesio or similar enterprise listening tools.
• Advanced analytical and data‑mining capabilities.
• Proficiency with SharePoint and OneDrive for documentation.
