SMB Account Manager – Eastern Canada

About the role

Join Square’s Account Management team to help small‑ and medium‑size merchants across Eastern Canada grow their businesses. You will act as a trusted advisor, guiding customers through Square’s suite of omnichannel tools and ensuring they achieve their revenue goals.

Key responsibilities

• Grow and retain a multi‑million‑dollar GPV customer base.
• Understand client needs and align Square solutions to their business objectives.
• Cross‑sell and upsell products and features by identifying new opportunities.
• Address customer concerns strategically and proactively.
• Collaborate with Sales, Support, and Product teams to deliver a seamless experience.
• Support peers by developing product expertise and providing feedback to product managers.

Required profile

• 2‑3 years of experience in sales, account management, or a related field.
• Proven ability to discover and close sales opportunities and manage a pipeline.
• Strong interest in business operations and strategy.
• Excellent organizational, analytical, written and verbal communication skills.
• Passion for leveraging new technologies to serve SMBs.
