Site Supervisor – ICI & Retail Construction (Ottawa)

About the role

Terlin Construction is seeking an experienced Site Supervisor to lead day‑to‑day operations on commercial and retail construction projects in Ottawa. The role focuses on delivering high‑quality results while coordinating with clients, subcontractors, and internal teams.

Key responsibilities

• Ensure optimal quality standards on the job site.
• Develop, maintain, and drive the construction schedule to meet milestones and completion dates.
• Manage, schedule, and supervise sub‑trades and field employees for efficient execution.
• Lead projects according to approved plans, specifications, design drawings, and applicable codes.
• Maintain daily reports tracking site progress, events, inspections, and other relevant information.
• Potentially supervise multiple projects simultaneously.

Required profile

• Self‑starter with excellent communication skills.
• Highly organized, detail‑oriented, and positive attitude.
• Minimum 10 years of site supervisory experience in retail/commercial construction.
• Strong knowledge of construction trades and industry practices.
