Site Superintendent

About the role

As a Site Superintendent for Aecon, you will lead construction activities at the Canadian Nuclear Laboratories site in Chalk River, Ontario. Reporting to the Construction Manager, you will ensure that all work is performed safely, on schedule, and to the required quality standards.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate daily construction operations on the nuclear site.
• Maintain strong relationships with the client, engineers, consultants, subcontractors, and the public.
• Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and human‑performance policies.
• Implement joint‑venture and client policies and project procedures.
• Monitor project costs and schedule, reporting progress to senior management.

Required profile

• Proven experience supervising construction projects, preferably in large‑scale or industrial environments.
• Strong understanding of safety regulations and quality standards.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder‑management abilities.
• Ability to lead teams and resolve on‑site issues promptly.
