Site Lead – Wind Turbine Operations

About the role

The Site Lead supports the mission of delivering 100% renewable energy by overseeing the installation, operation, and maintenance of wind turbines at a designated site. This position requires full French fluency and ensures that all equipment runs safely and efficiently.

Key responsibilities

• Assist and train Service Technicians on component assembly, commissioning, testing, repair, and maintenance of wind turbine generators and related equipment.
• Lead preventative maintenance activities such as Infrared Fault Detection, Corona Surveys, and Ultrasonic Surveys.
• Guide troubleshooting, calibration, repair, and retrofitting of low‑to‑medium voltage electrical, mechanical, and hydraulic components.
• Conduct safety analyses of electrical and mechanical hazards and train personnel on proper use of safety gear.
• Perform root‑cause analyses to determine equipment failures.
• Monitor and manage tool, consumable, and spare‑parts inventory.
• Maintain accurate documentation of corrective and preventive maintenance actions.
• Ensure compliance with safety, health, and cleanliness standards and schedule preventative maintenance tasks.

Required profile

• Associate degree or technical certificate, or at least 4 years of related experience in lieu of a degree.
• Minimum 5 years of direct experience in wind turbine or similar renewable‑energy equipment maintenance.
• Full French fluency.
• Current training certifications required for the role.
