Shipper – Logistics & Shipping Specialist

About the role

Canadian Helicopters is seeking a reliable Shipper to join its head office team in Les Cèdres. You will be responsible for preparing and dispatching aeronautical products while ensuring compliance with industry standards and safety regulations.

Key responsibilities

• Pack aeronautical products for shipment, adhering to industry standards and dangerous‑goods regulations.
• Prepare accurate shipping documentation using company systems.
• Tag and trace products to maintain full traceability.
• Measure package dimensions, verify weight, and calculate volume.
• Select optimal transportation routes based on cost and deadlines.
• Inspect received packages for compliance with company policies.
• Operate a forklift when required and perform deliveries.
• Maintain cleanliness of shipping and receiving areas.
• Perform any additional duties assigned by the Material Manager.

Required profile

• High school diploma.
• Computer literacy with experience in an MS Office environment.
• Basic mathematical skills.
• Strong organizational abilities and teamwork orientation.
• Ability to work autonomously, show initiative, and pay attention to detail.
• Physical capacity to lift and move loads up to 50 lb.
• Valid Class 5 driver’s licence and access to a vehicle.

Required skills

• Proficiency with MS Office applications.
• Forklift operation knowledge (preferred).
